TODAY'S LOOK: BLUE BREEZE

Hi Guys, greetings from Hungary! Hungary? Yes, I'm on vacation in Somogyharsagy (near Pécs). And I managed to get some interesting things to showcase. I will give you a brief review today and when I am back in Belgium you may expect a full report! 

First of all, I found a new brand of which I've never heard before. I have to say: I really like it! It was when I was shopping in the Arcad (= big shopping mall in Pécs) that I came across a small store. One of the items I bought was this 'Bora Bora' T-shirt... I doubted fitting shorts in "Harem style" but ended up not buying it. Now I decided that I'm going back to the Arcad and I actually will buy it!

Second, I couldn't resist myself being two pair of Converse Allstars. What I like most about this pair is the blue color. It's a bold, yet calm blue... Like a gentle breeze, but with a hint of energy! The other pair I bought are white as snow! You will see them in the full report!

So guys, that's all for today... Now I'm going to enjoy a late night swim in the clear blue watered pool!

SUMMER ESSENTIAL - NEW ARRIVAL

There is one thing I like more than wristwatches and sunglasses: ESPADRILLES. I absolutely LOVE them!!! Why I like these funny looking things? They are just so effortless and comfortable. During summertime these easy 'shoes' are my favorite items to wear. Pair them with a nice jeans and a subtle t-shirt and you have a great look! 

Best of all, they come in loads of colors and you have them in every price range. Below you can see my new arrivals, I bought these for my vacation in Hungary next week. Mine are between €5 and €20.

DOES NEON MAKE ME LOOK FAT?

Hi Guys,

It has been a while, but I've been a busy bee and on top of everything I've been sick as well. But I'm back and kicking... So this is my first NEW Look! 

I mixed an easy jeans and a flashy top from ZARA with loafers from H&M! Accessories are from Ice Watch and H&M as well. AND to the look complete I've put on one of my new sunglasses from LOUIS Belgium; ain't that awesome?!

SNIFF UP THE COMPETITION

Today I went to the Esprit store in Antwerp to sniff up the competition for next week. For those who can't follow, or those who need a reminder: 4 May 2013, I am entering the last stage of the the ESB (Esprit Style Battle). A competition for young lovers of fashion, in which they have to style Esprit customers with the latest collection. The winner recieves a €1000 voucher and a fashion spread in Glam It. So I wanted to have a look what I'm supposed to do next week. 

The assignment is as following: I need to style at least 5 customers (male or female) with the latest collection. Then they can take a picture with the look and afterwards I need to collect as much votes as I can get! Each week the contestant with the most likes, is the week winner. At the end of the Styling days, the 'Esprit Jury' will pick the final winner out of the week winners!

WELCOME DAYS

Today (and yesterday) PR agency Oona organized it's annual 'Welcome Days', showcasing the latest Fashion Trends for the coming season, Fall/Winter 2013-2014. Many bloggers, press agents and fashion lovers were invited, and so was I (How awesome?!!). 

To end the two day event in style, Oona offered her invitees a drink and black pudding, at their party tonight! It was loads of fun & I got to know many interesting people! Have a look at the pictures below!

Gentlemen's wear:

This fall/winter suits are available in all types of fabrics, prints and colors. Café Costume's latest collection showcases a lot of variation! My favorite suit is the blue one on the bottom (left corner). I like the color a lot and the fact that the sleeves are in a darker version makes it stand out.

Army Revival:

Normally I don't like wearing a coat or a leather jacket, because of the heaviness of some of the fabrics! But the next winter you might just see me walking down the street in one of these. Not only the colors are very attractive, but what's most important for me; they aren't that heavy!!! The colors refer to a military palette.

Another interesting brand is Memoire Imprimee. It is a Belgian!!! brand selling beautiful scarfs with personal prints on them. I've chose this 'Let's Go on a holiday' print to complete my outfit! Good to know; they have a silk collection as well!

FASHION NIGHT REPORT - PART 2

NO! I did not forget ... here it is: part 2 of my Report. Within this report I'll be explaining some trend for the coming season that I've spotted on Fashion Night last week.

left: colors such as marine blue and kaki green are combined with soft, natural tones such as brown and beige

middle: soft orange and coral red are combined with soft green

right: brown, grey and dark blue are combined with lemon green

overall trend: soft fabrics are used for sweaters, shirts and scarfs (scarf, with bold prints are a hot item this summer)

left: long t-shirts are combined with skinny pants and short jackets are combined with tight dresses

middle (she): black and white, with a hint of yellow

middle (he): grey tones are combined with yellows

right: light jackets are combined with a pants in a soft fabric

overall trend: yellow hints of color brighten up softer tones and loads of prints make t-shirts stand out!
