ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END

This is my last post before my big 'Vacation Review'. 

Today was the final day of my vacation in Hungary and what a day it was! I had breakfast in one of the hottest Breakfast places in Budapest (i.e. Daily), I went to a Hungarian hairdresser (you will see it in my next post!) && I visited my friends from BUBA, again ... 

Every time I visit them (since I've met them two days ago, I've been there at least 10 times!!), they've welcomed me with open arms and a big smile! 

Buba did something special for me today and I was so baffled about it that I "vined" about it immediately as she was doing it! She made me a custom made and personal (leather) wrist piece, with embellishments like no other!

Buba is convinced that making a piece on the hand of someone it brings fortune and prosperity to the owner. I'm convinced that she gives away a piece of her heart along with every piece she makes! 

What more can I say: I love it!!!

Because today was the last day we had to say our goodbyes, but we promised to keep in touch. My boyfriend and I were invited to come over and stay at her place whenever we visit Budapest! So we'll keep that in mind! 

I managed to learn her daughter Paula a couple of Antwerp words and I learned a bit Hungarian. We had fun & laughs... Great way to end a wonderful time!

SNIFF UP THE COMPETITION

Today I went to the Esprit store in Antwerp to sniff up the competition for next week. For those who can't follow, or those who need a reminder: 4 May 2013, I am entering the last stage of the the ESB (Esprit Style Battle). A competition for young lovers of fashion, in which they have to style Esprit customers with the latest collection. The winner recieves a €1000 voucher and a fashion spread in Glam It. So I wanted to have a look what I'm supposed to do next week. 

The assignment is as following: I need to style at least 5 customers (male or female) with the latest collection. Then they can take a picture with the look and afterwards I need to collect as much votes as I can get! Each week the contestant with the most likes, is the week winner. At the end of the Styling days, the 'Esprit Jury' will pick the final winner out of the week winners! 

WELCOME DAYS

Today (and yesterday) PR agency Oona organized it's annual 'Welcome Days', showcasing the latest Fashion Trends for the coming season, Fall/Winter 2013-2014. Many bloggers, press agents and fashion lovers were invited, and so was I (How awesome?!!). 

To end the two day event in style, Oona offered her invitees a drink and black pudding, at their party tonight! It was loads of fun & I got to know many interesting people! Have a look at the pictures below!

Gentlemen's wear:

This fall/winter suits are available in all types of fabrics, prints and colors. Café Costume's latest collection showcases a lot of variation! My favorite suit is the blue one on the bottom (left corner). I like the color a lot and the fact that the sleeves are in a darker version makes it stand out.

Army Revival:

Normally I don't like wearing a coat or a leather jacket, because of the heaviness of some of the fabrics! But the next winter you might just see me walking down the street in one of these. Not only the colors are very attractive, but what's most important for me; they aren't that heavy!!! The colors refer to a military palette.

Memoire imprimee:

Another interesting brand is Memoire Imprimee. It is a Belgian!!! brand selling beautiful scarfs with personal prints on them. I've chose this 'Let's Go on a holiday' print to complete my outfit! Good to know; they have a silk collection as well!
